Variation laws of resistance coefficient of equal-diameter shunt tee of air conditioning water pipes with pipe diameter and flow rate

Numerical simulation is used to obtain the local resistance coefficients of equal-diameter shunt tees in DN80 air conditioning water pipes at different flow rates, and the accuracy of the simulation results is verified by full-size experiments. The local resistance coefficients in the direction of direct current and bypass of equal-diameter shunt tees in different pipe diameter pipelines at different flow rates are simulated, as well as the local resistance coefficients in the direction of direct current and bypass for different flow ratios in DN100 pipelines. The results show that with the increase of flow rate, the local resistance coefficients in both directions show an increasing trend, and with the increase of flow ratio, the local resistance coefficients in both directions show a trend of decreasing first and then increasing.
